Joel Abdo, owner of ABDO Medical, has experience with just this
type of challenge. Joel’s personal experiences (a kidney
transplant and two hip replacements) inspired him to start a new
career as an inventor and manufacturer of uniquely bendable
reaching tools for both the able-bodied and disabled consumers.
In 1994, Joel created a company that manufactures and sells a
multi-purpose self-care body wand that he designed. This useful
tool is extremely beneficial to people who lack enough arm
motion to apply medicated or non-medicated lotions, creams and
ointments to the back, feet and other hard-to-reach body areas.”

In 2004, Joel M. Abdo, inventor of the
Body-REACH+ system, felt he had perfected his flexible body wand
when he developed and introduced to the public a lightweight,
bendable wand that was more flexible and durable than his
previous products. The versatility of this new wand and the
array of functional attachments clearly set Joel's product apart
from his competitors.
Unfortunately, due to long term health
complications, my brother Joel passed away in March of 2007. To
honor Joel's memory and his passion to serve the needs of
others, I decided to continue his mission of bringing this
unique and valuable product to those in need.
To the customers of ABDO Medical I offer my
thanks for your patience. Understanding this special product,
and the workings of Joel’s company, has been a rewarding, but
also a time consuming, process. To our new and prospective
customers, I hope you will be as amazed as I have become at the
